The Penelopiad

by Margaret Atwood

Directed by Holly Cinnamon

with The Boston Conservatory Entrepreneurial Grant

Performed at The Boston Conservatory - Zack Box

December 2015

The Penelopiad is essentially the tale of the Odyssey told from Penelope's modern-aged spirit. Since the story calls for many character changes, every actress wore a "nude" base costume and can transform quickly with a layer-able attire.

I had the privilege of working with BoCo students ranging from undergraduates to MFA students. BoCo students and staff - you are truly a passionate and loving community - I would work with you a thousand times more. This cast and crew pushed until the very end with the driving force of our director Holly Cinnamon - whom I must say is a Goddess and extraordinary visionary. I cannot thank you enough for this opportunity Holly and thank you for not only accepting my ideas but improving them to better serve the story.
